Flex Employee of the Month June: Marcel Sroka
Every month at Flexspecialisten we put a special flex employee in the spotlight. This month it is Marcel Sroka, working at Bleckmann in Bergen op Zoom. With his drive and reliability, he is a valuable force within the team!
A day in the life of Marcel
Marcel works primarily as an all-round employee in the return department. His workday begins with preparing his workstation. "My work consists of sorting clothes, packing and adding the data to the system," he says. In doing so, he helps colleagues as needed, as cooperation is a high priority for him.
What Marcel appreciates most about his job? "What I like most is working in the warehouse and helping people get better," he says. He says the good atmosphere and nice colleagues make the work even nicer: "In the company, the atmosphere is good and people are friendly. That makes everything easier."
A strong relationship with Flexspecialisten
Marcel has now been part of the Flexspecialisten team for just over a year and looks back on his experience positively. "I would like to continue working at Flexspecialisten, because it has been a very pleasant cooperation so far," he says. He has a good connection with his contact person Danut, who helps quickly and solution-oriented when Marcel is faced with a question.
Living, life and future plans
Marcel is also positive about living in the Netherlands: "I like the country and the temp agency is conveniently located, close to work." For the future, he has a wish that is still far away: "I hope to return to my homeland one day, but that is still far away."
More than just employee: driver and janitor
Within Flexspecialisten, Marcel also has an important role as driver and janitor. His colleague Danut explains, "Marcel's car is always clean and fresh, and his house is the neatest of all the homes under my management. As janitor, he checks cars and locations carefully. Since he has been doing this job, no registration has ever been missed. His checks are always on time and precise."
Marcel also thinks proactively about scheduling: "If I have someone in my car, I always indicate whether they might have problems getting home, because scheduling at Bleckmann is sometimes a tricky puzzle." During the busy Black Friday period, Marcel was an indispensable support by arranging extra transportation for colleagues.
Appreciation within the team
The team at Bleckmann greatly appreciates Marcel. His performance is above average and he and his girlfriend are loved by team leaders and supervisors.
