About the position
For our client Boons Supermarkt in Ochten we are looking for an apprentice butcher who wants to learn the trade by immediately applying it in practice: Learning on the Job. You will work in a beautiful and stylish store and learn the trade from the experienced butchers of Boons Supermarkt and an experienced trainer.
Besides cutting, you also fulfill a commercial role. Namely, you are supposed to give advice to customers. The clientele of Boons consists mainly of consumers. You will also prepare meat meals for customers.
Working Hours
Working hours will be primarily day shift. Work will be from Monday through Saturday. Saturdays will be rotated within the team. In addition, you will occasionally be scheduled in the evening.

We offer
- Good salary between €2,654 and €3,033 gross per month, depending on experience and suitability.
- A course starting in 2025 with a duration of about 1.5 years.
- A curriculum of five modules: Beef / Pig / Lamb / Veal / Hygiene & Quality.
- Practice that connects to the theory lessons.
- Paid theory classes provided by an accredited training provider.
- A permanent position at Boons Supermarket Ochten for 38 hours per week.
- Small theory group of eight to ten students.
