Flex employee of the month for February
Each month, we highlight a flex employee who has made a special commitment to work and colleagues. In February, that honor is for Cristina Chereji! With her dedication and positive attitude, she makes a difference every day.
Cristina has been working at Flexspecialisten for several years and currently fulfills the role of job coach at Van Loon Noord. Van Loon Noord is a dynamic producer of daily fresh meat products, such as steak, minced meat and sausages. At the Beilen location, over 200 employees work daily on the production of beef and grinding products. Every day she guides, motivates and supports her colleagues on the shop floor. Thanks to the 'can do' mentality, there is a nice and friendly working atmosphere.
A day as a job coach
"A typical day for me starts with checking on my employees and reviewing their progress," Cristina says. "I love the variety: whether it's helping someone with their work, giving improvement recommendations or just listening - every day is different and that keeps me motivated."
What Cristina values most about her work is seeing her colleagues' growth. "It gives me great satisfaction to see someone develop and reach their potential. Being allowed to contribute to that motivates me to do my job to the best of my ability every day," she says with a smile.
An extra step for the team
In December 2024, Cristina temporarily took on another role at our in-house location in Beilen at the request of Flexspecialisten. Here she worked with Damian and assumed his duties during his absence. "Working with Damian was fantastic! The team in Beilen is helpful and in a short time we were able to get a lot done. It was nice to gain experience and see the daily business from a different perspective," she reflects on this period.
Cristina's flexibility and dedication impressed the team. She adapted effortlessly and proved once again that they can rely on her. "It means a lot to me to know that the team has confidence in me and my skills," Cristina says. "That motivates me to give my all and give my best every day."
Cristina outside of work
Besides her work, Cristina is enthusiastic about her life in the Netherlands. "The people here are hospitable and I feel completely at home. The culture, the delicious food and the way of life really suit me,".
For the future, Cristina has ambitious plans. "I am always looking for ways to improve myself and take on new challenges. I want to further develop my leadership and continue to increase my positive impact as a job coach," she shares with enthusiasm.
Cristina shows with her dedication, passion and versatility that she is more than deserving of the title "Flex Employee of the Month. All our flex employees earn a LOYALTY point for every hour they work. They can spend these points in the Flexspecialisten LOYALTY webshop. In the webshop, they can order workouts, various fitness items, kitchen equipment, board games and electronics items, among other things.
