In the Netherlands, the temporary employment sector is subject to various laws and regulations designed to protect the rights of both temporary workers and employers. To ensure compliance, several organizations oversee whether temporary employment agencies are operating in accordance with the rules. Flexspecialisten certifications from the ABU, SNF, and SNA (NEN 4400-1). These organizations adhere to high-quality standards that align with our values and principles.

ABU
Flexspecialisten a proud member of the Algemene Bond Uitzendondernemingen (ABU), the largest employers’ association in the temporary staffing sector, with over 500 members. Our Managing Director, Tom Sijpestijn, served on the ABU board for over twenty years and remains active on the ABU International committee.
The ABU is committed to providing temporary staffing services that benefit temporary workers, clients, and the labor market. As an ABU member, Flexspecialisten guarantees Flexspecialisten , reliability, and the right match: the right temporary worker at the right time and in the right place.
SNA
The SNA quality mark is the certification standard for the temporary staffing sector and labor contractors. The quality mark was developed to mitigate the risks faced by labor hirers and clients. As a staffing agency, we also fall under the scope of the quality mark because Flexspecialisten provides labor. Under current legislation, both parties run the risk of being held liable for labor-related obligations that have not been fulfilled by the staffing agency or (sub)contractor.
Companies with the SNA certification are subject to periodic audits, which helps mitigate the risk for both the user of temporary staff and the staffing agency. Simply put, SNA-certified organizations have their entire payroll and administrative records for temporary staff in order. Based on the NEN standard 4400-1 , the Stichting Normering Arbeid (SNA) issues the SNA quality mark.
