What is this?
This is a reimbursement of part of the cost of health insurance for people with low incomes. If the insured person has a low income and meets other conditions (see below), they may be eligible for the Health Insurance Subsidy. This will help ensure that health insurance costs do not place such a heavy burden on the individual.

Who is eligible?
The Tax and Customs Administration has several conditions that must be met in order to receive the Healthcare Allowance:

• You must be at least 18 years old (minors are not required to pay for health insurance, so they cannot apply for reimbursement of part of the insurance costs);
• You must have Dutch health insurance;
• Your income (and possibly that of your partner) cannot be too high.

For 2024, the maximum amount of the health insurance subsidy in the Netherlands is €123 per month.
The subsidy is available to those whose total gross income in the Netherlands and other countries does not exceed €26,500 in 2024.
If your gross income in 2024 exceeds €26,500, your monthly healthcare subsidy amount will be reduced proportionally.

How to apply?
Flexspecialisten each newly hired employee to the Tax Authority. The relevant department of this agency verifies the application submitted on behalf of the employee and makes a decision regarding that individual. The employee receives the decision by mail at their registered address. This occurs within a few days to a few weeks from the date the application is submitted. The decision includes, among other things, information about the expected amount of funding for a specific calendar year.
Please note that this decision may change, requiring previously received amounts to be repaid. Information regarding the need to return funds is also provided to the employee by mail.

What should you keep in mind?
Flexspecialisten not responsible for decisions made by the Tax and Customs Administration. However, we have no influence over the agency’s decisions.

What is this?
Every employee must have the Plan4Flex app installed and activated on their mobile device (iPad or phone) and should check its contents regularly.
Within the app, you will find all employee documentation, including employment contracts, pay stubs, and more. The app is also the primary communication tool between Flexspecialisten the employee.

Timesheet This is the report generated by Plan4Flex showing the number of hours worked in the previous week. Due to the complex process of processing work hours, there may be errors related to the number of hours displayed in the report. In other words: the report may contain errors. In the event of a discrepancy, the time will be corrected.

What should you keep in mind?
Not using P4F does not eliminate the need to read the documentation and take appropriate action when the situation requires it, such as when signing documents.

What is this?
In the Netherlands, the basis for calculating taxes is gross annual income. That is why we settle our taxes at least once a year. To prevent you from having to pay a large amount of tax once a year, we pay annual tax advances with each payment. The contributions are calculated based on estimated annual income.

How much tax do I pay? 

Where can I find information about the amount of tax withheld?
Information about the amount of tax withheld (as a percentage) can be found at the top of your pay stub.

What should you keep in mind?
The amount of payroll tax is determined by the Tax and Customs Administration. If an employee has concerns about the amount of tax paid, he or she may file an appeal with the aforementioned office. Flexspecialisten no influence on the amount of tax that employees are required to pay.

Vacation pay: what is it?
In the Netherlands, vacation pay is owed to every employee who is legally employed in the country and amounts to exactly 8.33% of gross annual income.

When is it paid out?
The employer can pay the vacation allowance in various ways. Flexspecialisten this amount weekly or annually.

Where can I find information about my pay stub?
Information about the amount of tax withheld (in %) can be found at the top of the pay stub.

Vacation days; wWhat is this?
Vacation days is a vacation allowance based on the length of time you have worked at a particular company. This allowance is a percentage of your gross weekly wage expressed in hours.

When will it be paid out?
Vacation days can be paid out in the event of an employee’s leave or as a supplement to the current week, up to a maximum of 40 working hours. The total vacation day balance is recorded on the pay stub.

If weekend work is available, employees will receive notifications via the P4F app. To sign up for weekend work, please use the P4F app.

Anyone who lives or works legally in the Netherlands must have health insurance. Employees who use our group insurance plan will also receive an insurance card. Due to the large number of insured individuals, it may take longer for the insurer to send the card. This does not affect the fact that the employee is insured.
If you need medical care, you can use a BSN number or obtain a copy of your insurance policy from Flexspecialisten. In the event of long wait times or if the current card is lost or destroyed, you can submit a request for a replacement insurance card at the employee’s request.

Why?
For everyone’s safety, every driver is expected to respect and follow the traffic rules.

When?
There may be a delay between the time the traffic violation is committed and the time the fine is sent. This does not relieve the person responsible for the fine of their obligation to accept responsibility for the fine and pay it.

What should you keep in mind?
To avoid confusion about who is liable for the fine in question, the driver of the vehicle is registered for each use of the car.
Every car is equipped with a chip reader, which is activated by holding a tag against the reader before you start driving.
