Flex Worker of the Month for August 2025
Every month, we highlight a Flex employee who stands out for their dedication, commitment, and teamwork. This month, that person is Mariusz Strugala, who works at Fromatech. Mariusz is known as a friendly colleague who is always ready to contribute ideas and pitch in.
A Day in the Life of Mariuszat Fromatech
“Work, work, and more work,” Mariusz says with a laugh when we ask him about his workday. His day starts at the factory entrance, where he clocks in and changes into his work clothes. Then he gets to work alongside his colleagues in the production hall.
At Fromatech, he is responsible for producing flavorful spice blends. The ingredients are carefully blended in a mixer to create a perfect final product. The spices are then packaged in bags, placed in boxes, and stacked on pallets for transport to the customer.
During breaks, there’s time to socialize: chatting, laughing, and relaxing with coworkers. After a busy day at work, Mariusz can enjoy his free time, a good meal, or a moment of peace and quiet.
What makes the job enjoyable?
Mariusz especially enjoys working with his great colleagues. “We work really well together. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the team is made up of interesting people from different countries. Everyone helps each other and works well together.”
Communication with Flex Support is also going well. Mariusz emphasizes that he can always count on help from the coordinators, with special thanks to Pamela and Aleksandra: “They’re always there for us and offer support whenever we have a problem.”
Living in the Netherlands
Mariusz lives in Tegelen, where he shares a neat and well-maintained room with a roommate. With his own kitchenette and refrigerator, he enjoys a great deal of independence, and thanks to Flexspecialisten fleet of vehicles, he and his colleagues Flexspecialisten easily travel to various work sites.
Mariusz finds life in the Netherlands to be a positive experience: “People are cheerful and seem more relaxed than in Poland. On weekends, you see people getting together at each other’s homes or in restaurants. There are many beautiful places to visit, and in the summer we often go to the river with colleagues. Some even go fishing.”
Future Plans
For now, Mariusz would like to continue working in the Netherlands and further his professional development through specialized courses. In the long term, he sees himself returning to Poland, but for the time being, he feels completely at home here.
