Today at Flexspecialisten was Flexspecialisten about the future. In collaboration with MijnToekomstLive, an initiative of Lerende Stad Oss, we welcomed students from Mondriaan College and Maasland College for an inspiring and interactive introduction to our field of work.

Learning by doing

We kicked off the day with an interactive session in which the students actively participated. Based on questions that appeared on the screen, they contributed their ideas and shared their answers. This immediately fostered engagement and set the tone for an energetic start to the day.

We then discussed the questions the students had submitted in advance. This led to valuable discussions and gave us the opportunity to provide a clear picture of what it’s like to work at Flexspecialisten within our industry.

Understanding Yourself with DISC

The second part of the program focused on the DISC Quiz. The students worked through a series of statements. For each statement, they chose the color that best suited them. Afterward, it became clear which color dominated their responses and, consequently, which personality type best suited them.

Each color represented a DISC profile:

  • 🔴 Dominant
  • 🔵 Conscientious
  • 🟢 Stable
  • 🟡 Influential

From personality to practice

Using their personal color as a starting point, the students then set out to explore our organization. They visited various departments and discovered how certain personality types align well with specific roles. For example, a more energetic and persuasive personality (yellow) is a good fit for marketing, while a meticulous personality (blue) often feels at home in finance.

This connection not only made it clear what the work entails, but also where each person’s strengths might lie.
