April's Flex Employee of the Month: Joanna Barbara Markiewicz
Every month, we shine a spotlight on a standout employee—someone who makes a difference in the workplace through their dedication, enthusiasm, and positivity. This time, Joanna Barbara Markiewicz, who worksat MSI Eindhoven, wasthelucky one. And that was a surprise she didn’t see coming!
We paid her a personal visit with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a surprise gift package. Joanna was visibly moved when she heard she had been named Flex Employee of the Month. “What a surprise,” she said, looking both surprised and grateful.
What immediately stands out about Joanna is her dedication and positive attitude. She works in the department where she is responsible for inspecting products and preparing pallets for shipment. “What do I like best? The variety! Every day is different; I’m always learning something new,” she says enthusiastically.
Her MSI team leader, Ben, is also very enthusiastic:
“At first, Joanna was a little hesitant, but she quickly fit right in with the team. She’s meticulous, reliable, and has really surprised me. I was worried for a moment that the work might be too physically demanding, but she’s proven me completely wrong. Joanna is someone we can really count on.”

Joanna has been working with us for a long time and is currently doing a fantastic job at MSI. She also serves as the caretaker at our housing facility in Helmond, where she happily welcomes new residents and supports us in all sorts of ways. She is an enthusiastic and dedicated employee who goes to work with a smile every day, and we regularly receive compliments about her dedication. These are exactly the qualities we look for in a Flex Employee of the Month!
Joanna lives in Helmond and feels completely at home in the Netherlands. She is determined to build a stable life here. With previous work experience in the meat industry and at PostNL—where she even earned her commercial driver’s license—she has now truly found her place at MSI.
