On November 1, we celebrated a special anniversary! Ilona Pyznar has been working as an In-House Recruiter at Flexspecialisten for 5 years. Over the past five years, she has come a long way—from Junior In-House Recruiter to a senior role in which she mentors employees on a daily basis, maintains contact with clients, and supports her colleagues . It’s a remarkable story of growth that began years ago on the shop floor at Jumbo Raalte.

From Order Picker to Senior In-House Recruiter

Ilona’s story at Flexspecialisten began eight years ago, when she started working as a flex employee through Flexspecialisten as an order picker at Jumbo Raalte. After several years on the shop floor, she was given the opportunity to mentor new employees as a trainer. That’s when she discovered how rewarding it is to help others and share her knowledge.

Five years ago, Ilona was given the opportunity to further her career and join the in-house team at Flexspecialisten as a Junior In-House Recruiter. Although she had no prior experience in this role, she mastered the job by working hard, learning a great deal, and taking on more and more responsibility. That dedication was rewarded in 2025 with a well-deserved promotion to Senior In-House Recruiter.“I’m very happy that I was given the opportunity to develop myself and show what I’m capable of,”says Ilona.

Increasing responsibility and trust

While Ilona was initially responsible only for Jumbo Raalte, she has since also taken on responsibility for Jumbo Beilen . Her responsibilities have expanded significantly over the years. She has more contact with clients, makes decisions independently, and plays an important role in the day-to-day supervision of employees.

That growth has not only given her more responsibility, but also more self-confidence:“Over the past five years, I’ve become much more independent and have gained more confidence in my own abilities.”

What makes Ilona unique in her role is her hands-on work experience. Because she started out as a temporary worker herself, she knows exactly what it’s like to work for a client. She understands what matters to employees, knows what clients value, and is therefore able to effectively bridge the gap between both parties.

A dedicated colleague you can count on

In addition to her professional development, Ilona is also a valued colleague on the team. She is dedicated, driven, and always ready to help others. She knows the employees and clients well, is aware of what’s going on, and actively contributes ideas for solutions.

Thanks to her experience, Ilona often knows right away what needs to be done. She takes the initiative, mentors colleagues, and enjoys sharing the knowledge she has built up over the years. As a result, she has become a familiar face to employees, colleagues, and clients alike. Ilona herself really enjoys working with her team.“What do I value most about Flexspecialisten?
