June's Flex Employee of the Month: Marcel Sroka
Every month at Flexspecialisten , we highlight Flexspecialisten special temporary employee. This month, it’s Marcel Sroka, who works at Bleckmann in Bergen op Zoom. With his dedication and reliability, he’s a valuable asset to the team!
A Day in the Life of Marcel
Marcel mainly works as an all-around employee in the returns department. His workday begins with setting up his workstation. “My job involves sorting clothing, packing it, and entering the details into the system,” he explains. He also helps his colleagues whenever needed, as teamwork is very important to him.
What does Marcel appreciate most about his job? “What I like best is working in the warehouse and helping people improve,” he says. He believes the positive atmosphere and friendly coworkers make the job even more enjoyable: “The atmosphere at the company is great, and the people are friendly. That makes everything easier.”
A strong partnership with Flexspecialisten
Marcel has been part of the Flexspecialisten for just over a year now and looks back on his experience positively. “I’d like Flexspecialisten working at Flexspecialisten , because it’s been a very positive experience so far.” He has a good rapport with his contact person, Danut, who provides quick and solution-oriented help whenever Marcel has a question.
Housing, daily life, and future plans
Marcel is also positive about living in the Netherlands: “I really like the country, and the temp agency is conveniently located, close to work.” As for the future, he has a wish that is still a long way off: “I hope to return to my home country someday, but that’s still a long way off.”
More than just an employee: driver and building manager
At Flexspecialisten , Marcel also Flexspecialisten an important role as a driver and property manager. His colleague Danut explains: “Marcel’s car is always clean and fresh, and his home is the neatest of all the properties under my management. As a property manager, he carefully inspects cars and locations. Since he’s been doing this job, not a single inspection has been missed. His inspections are always on time and thorough.”
Marcel also proactively contributes to the scheduling process: “If I have someone in my car, I always let them know if they might have trouble getting home, because scheduling at Bleckmann can sometimes be a tricky puzzle.” During the busy Black Friday period, Marcel was an indispensable help by arranging extra rides for his colleagues.
Appreciation within the team
The team at Bleckmann holds Marcel in very high regard. His performance is above average, and both he and his girlfriend are well-liked by team leaders and supervisors.
