Growth & Development: Izabela Wojte

At Flexspecialisten , we believe that personal development begins with having the courage to take that first step. Sometimes that means moving to a new country, sometimes taking on a new role, and sometimes both at once. For our In-House Recruiter, Izabela Wojte, that journey began with a job opening in Poland and evolved into a career centered on responsibility, challenge, and personal growth.
A Leap of Faith
When Izabela was looking for a new job in Poland, she came across a job posting from Flexspecialisten for an office position as a coordinator/flex support in the Netherlands. That immediately caught her attention—not only because an office position abroad is a unique opportunity, but also because she already had friends living in the Netherlands.
What began as an adventure to a new country ultimately turned out to be the start of a new professional challenge—an opportunity to gain experience, meet new people, and further develop myself.
Looking for more depth
She joined Flexspecialisten in June 2025 as a coordinator/flex support specialist. In that role, she worked with multiple clients and groups of employees. Although the work offered a lot of variety, Izabela realized over time that she needed to delve deeper into her work. “I felt like I was doing a little bit of everything, but couldn’t really dive deep into anything.”
That need led her to the position of In-House Intermediary at Jumbo Raalte in January 2026. It’s a role in which she can focus entirely on a single client, mentor a larger group of employees, and take on more responsibility throughout the entire process. The move turned out to offer exactly what she was looking for: more ownership, more variety, and more room to make a real impact.
No two days are the same
For Izabela, a typical workday actually begins before she even gets to the office. The day invariably starts with the indispensable weather updates from her colleagues. Thanks to those daily forecasts, she usually knows exactly whether her hair will survive the Dutch rain. This is followed by an hour-long drive to the client’s location, always accompanied by her Taylor Swift playlist. It’s a set routine that energizes her and ensures she starts her workday on a positive note.
Once on site, it’s all about our people. Welcoming employees, answering questions, solving problems, and making sure the client’s schedule runs smoothly. Every day, she strives to find the right balance between employee availability and the client’s staffing needs. No two days go exactly as planned, and that’s precisely what makes her work so interesting.
Close to the people and the operation
What Izabela perhaps enjoys most about her job is being on the shop floor. That sometimes means working in temperatures that feel like you’ve walked straight into the North Pole, but above all, it means she’s close to both the employees and the operations.
By regularly being present on the work floor, she has a good understanding of what’s going on. This helps her better support employees and respond more quickly to customer needs.
Challenges are part of the deal
Working with people also means working with people from different backgrounds, with different personalities and expectations. That’s what makes the work challenging—but also interesting. Every situation calls for a different approach. Listening, thinking along with others, and finding solutions are therefore key parts of her job. No two days are exactly the same, and that’s what keeps the work dynamic.
Growing Together
Looking back on her transition to a new role, she is particularly impressed by the support she received from her colleagues. Izabela was given the space to gradually get to know her new team and the client’s organization before taking full responsibility for her new duties.
She also cites her colleagues’ helpfulness and the positive atmosphere within the team as key factors in a successful transition. “You’re challenged to learn new things, but you’re never on your own.”

Seeing and Seizing Opportunities
Her new role confirms that she draws energy from responsibility, collaboration, and mentoring others. This reinforced her ambition to continue growing within Flexspecialisten and take on new challenges. For colleagues who want to advance in their careers, she has a clear message: “Don’t wait until you feel 100 percent ready. If an opportunity comes along, go for it. And if you don’t see any opportunities, start a conversation. Sometimes new possibilities arise precisely because you bring them up.”

Growth is part of the culture
According to Izabela, the strength of Flexspecialisten lies in the opportunities employees are given to grow. You don’t have to stay in the same role for years on end. Anyone who is curious, shows initiative, and is open to new challenges will have the chance to advance.
As she puts it herself: “Sometimes you’re thrown in at the deep end, but with the right people around you and a life jacket within reach.” And it is precisely that combination of challenge, trust, and support that ensures growth at Flexspecialisten is not only possible but is actively encouraged.
